Lazy Acres is a private fishing Club that consists of 275 yearly members that is located east of Streator, IL. This lake rests in the middle of 13 acres of property with approximately 7 acres of stocked water. The lake was established in the early 1960’s which was once owned by Owen’s Illinois Glass Factory in Streator, IL.
Lazy Acres waters have a number of breeds of fish including: bluegill, trout, bass, catfish, walleye and crappie to name a few. We also have fish stockings several times a year. This is a fishing club only. We do not allow camping or hunting on our grounds.
We have a waiting list of some 70 to 80 people yearly who will eventually get the privilege of belonging to this wonderful fishing lake.
